Dr. Paul Nguyen received his BA from Harvard College and MD from Harvard Medical School, and completed his residency training in the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program. He is a genitourinary radiation oncologist at Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center with a special focus on prostate cancer and brachytherapy. His research focuses on optimizing the use of androgen deprivation therapy in men with high-risk prostate cancer and identifying molecular predictors of radiosensitivity and survival. He has over 70 publications in journals including JAMA, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Lancet Oncology, and serves as senior editor for Practical Radiation Oncology and on the editorial board of Prostate Cancer and Prostatic Diseases. Dr. Nguyen is also a member of the American College of Radiology Appropriateness Criteria Committee writing national guidelines for the optimal management of prostate cancer.
