Declan Cahill was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' (GSTT) in 2003. He specialises in prostate cancer. We diagnose 800 new patients per year and have a large tertiary referral practise. We have particular expertise in active surveillance, bracytherapy, external beam radiotherapy and robotically assisted radical prostatectomy. GSTT is the highest volume centre for radical prostatectomy in the UK. The clinical prostate cancer team is part of a multi-institutional, multidisciplinary clinical and scientific team working on prostate cancer research.
