Tom Ahearn Awarded HSPH Postdoc Association Travel Award

Join us in congratulating Tom Ahearn, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Cancer Epidemiology Group at the Harvard School of Public Health, who has just been granted a Postdoc Association Travel Award. The Postdoc Association Travel Award is a Harvard School of Public Health Award designed to provide financial support to HSPH research fellows who have limited opportunities to attend a conference. The travel award is aimed at fellows that have not yet attended a conference during their postdoctoral studies at HSPH. Tom used the award to attend the recent American Association for Cancer Research annual conference in Washington D.C. When asked about the overall AACR experience, Tom stated, “The AACR conference, in particular, is ideal for staying at the forefront of cancer research and for generating new research questions.”
