Dr. Mark A. Preston is an Associate Surgeon in the Division of Urology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Preston is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada after finishing Medical School (2006) and Urology Residency (2011) training at the University of Ottawa, Canada. He completed a Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston while concurrently completing a Masters of Public Health with a concentration in Clinical Effectiveness at the Harvard School of Public Health. He is a member of the Society of Urologic Oncology, the Canadian Urological Association, and the American Urological Association. He is published in several peer-reviewed journals with research focused on the epidemiology of prostate cancer risk with an emphasis on predictive biomarkers, screening strategies, and pharmacoepidemiology.
